Eleventh dialogue of #ResponsibleRegions: Smart Specialisation Strategy in TR83 Region (Turkey)
#ResponsibleRegions is a series of monthly webinars dealing with the concepts of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). EURADA and the TeRRItoria consortium are organising these webinars with the aim of sharing the valuable experience of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and local actors in developing and adapting strategies for regional development.
The eleventh event will take place on Thursday the 18th of November at 15:00 CEST. The topic of this event is “Regional Innovation Strategy in the middle Black Sea Region (TR83)“.
By using an inclusive approach and public engagement, the region of the Middle Black Sea (Turkey) developed in 2017 an advanced place-based approach to the formulation of its regional strategy for research and innovation (RIS3), following the experience gained with regional innovation strategy (2013). With public engagement, the region will create a procedure that allows the opening up of RIS3 phases (from design to monitoring) to social stakeholders allowing a stable dialogue with civil society and the people they represent.
The event, moderated by Esteban Pelayo, Director of EURADA (the European Association of Development Agencies) will also include the participation of one panellist: Nalan Tepe-Şençayır, planning specialist at BEBKA Regional Development Agency
