Event Announcement: Upcoming workshop at the 2019 European Week of Regions and Cities

Territoria Project will attend and present at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2019 in Brussels.

On Wednesday 9 October, TeRRitoria alongside its sister projects, SeeRRI and EU-Citizen.Science, and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre will offer a workshop : ‘Science for Citizens: how science meets regions and cities’.

With regions and cities displaying a solid interface for citizen engagement and democratic participation, the workshop will highlight citizen science as a method of defining public participation in scientific research as well as initiatives bridging legislators & policymakers with scientists for the mutual enhancement of both policy and science.

The workshop will conclude with a focus on co-creation in the field of Regional Research and Innovation Strategies.
