Ninth dialogue of #ResponsibleRegions: How ADR Nord-Est is integrating groups in rural and mountain areas into its RIS3 strategy

#ResponsibleRegions is a series of monthly webinars dealing with the concepts of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). EURADA and the TeRRItoria consortium are organising these webinars with the aim of sharing the valuable experience of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and local actors in developing and adapting strategies for regional development.

The ninth event will take place on Thursday the 23rd of September at 15:00 CEST. The topic of this event is “How ADR Nord-Est is integrating groups in rural and mountain areas into its RIS3 strategy“.
Agatha Filimon, from the development agency ADR Nord Est, will explain to us how they are dealing with public engagement, entrepreneurial discovery process and how they are trying to motivate people to be innovator in a remote and mountain area in order to better define their Regional Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3). ADR Nord Est is a managing authority and in the framework of their second generation of smart specialisation they are reinforcing the participation of those actors from rural and remote areas that were less represented in smart specialisation strategies.

The event, moderated by Esteban Pelayo, Director of EURADA (the European Association of Development Agencies) will also include the participation of two panellists: Patricia da Costa Félix Bermejo FUNDECYT; and Thomas Dax from the Federal Institute of Agricultural Economics Rural and Mountain Research.
