Twelfth dialogue of #ResponsibleRegions: TRANSFORM. Giving citizens a seat at the table of R&I regional policymaking. The Lombardy region case.

#ResponsibleRegions is a series of monthly webinars dealing with the concepts of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). EURADA and the TeRRItoria consortium are organising these webinars with the aim of sharing the valuable experience of Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and local actors in developing and adapting strategies for regional development.

The twelfth event will take place on Thursday the 16th of December at 15:00 CEST. The topic of this event is “TRANSFORM. Giving citizens a seat at the table of R&I regional policymaking. The Lombardy region case“.
The Horizon 2020 project TRANSFORM is inserting citizen engagement methodologies (i.e. co-design, co-creation, citizen science) in regional R&I policymaking (especially strategic programs and plans, as S3). During the twelfth dialogue of #ResponsibleRegions we are going to discover how TRANSFORM is integrating citizen engagement in the Responsible and Innovation Strategy in Lombardy (Italy). The main speaker of the event will be Angela Simone, Coordinator of the EU H2020 TRANSFORM project.

The event, moderated by Esteban Pelayo, Director of EURADA (the European Association of Development Agencies) will also include the participation of two panellist: Sylvie Depraetere, Head of Attractiveness and Proximity Department, Third Industrial Revolution Department at Hauts de France Region, and one panellist from the academia world.
